Are you looking for a gentle cleanser you can use everyday? A mask that won’t dry out your skin?  Something to fight acne without striping your acid mantle and delicate biome? LOOK NO FURTHER FOLKS!  Our Enriching Clay Cleansing Mask is a multitasker.

So now for the nerdy stuff...why it works.  Each ingredient was chosen to play a role in giving you amazing, glowing skin.  Check it out...

White kaolin clay - A gentle clay that purifies the skin without stripping it of its natural oils, softening the skin.  Rich in vitamins and minerals, this natural clay reduces uneven pigmentation and calms redness.  Detoxifies the skin.

Fractionated coconut oil -It is coconut oil that has had its long chain fatty acids removed which allows it to stay liquid  which allows it to seep into the skin, avoiding clogged pores (virgin coconut oil can be comedogenic on some people).  It has been scientifically proven as an antimicrobial and fights bacteria due to its lauric acid.  It aids in cleansing skin and removing excess oils and dirt without disturbing the delicate acid mantle.   It is a very soothing, moisturizing ingredient.

Castor oil - This highly viscous oil penetrates deep into the skin to nourish it with essential fatty acids,  stimulating the production of your own natural collagen and elastin, giving your skin a youthful glow. It has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, healing and reducing blemishes.  It is also known to reduce pigmentation.

Almond oil - Full of fatty acids, vitamin E, potassium, proteins and minerals, this oil helps heal skin, improve texture, reduces signs of aging and aids in dead and damaged skin cell turn over.

Carnauba wax - a very emollient, hypoallergenic wax derived from plants.  It helps thicken the product and helps it go on smoothly.  Yes, it is the same thing as in car wax!

Lavender essential oil - it is an acne fighter, is antibacterial and can calm and heal painful breakouts.  It is known to help hyperpigmentation, eczema, and softens skin. It detoxifies skin and because it releases tension, it aids in softening fine lines and wrinkles. It is full of free radical fighting phytochemicals and antioxidants.

Balsam fir oil - has antifungal and antibacterial properties excellent for acne prone skin. It encourages the flushing out of toxins.

So what happens when you put all of these hardworking ingredients together?  You have a product that is excellent for all skin types:

    Acne Prone

    Dry Skin

    Aging Skin

    Sensitive Skin

    Combination Skin

    Hyperpigmentation

The lavender and kaolin reduce redness and detoxify, the almond oil and fractionated coconut oil moisturize and soothe and you have a product that reduces fine lines, balances sebum production and leaves your skin hydrated and soft.

How to use

This is a double duty product.  It is a cleanser and a mask.  Depending on what your skin needs, you can use it strictly as a cleanser, get all your makeup off and the grime of the day.  You can apply it dry then add a damp, warm cloth and work it off.  You can also apply it dry and leave it on for 5-10 minutes.  It is oil based so it wont get dry and flaky and dehydrate your skin like many clay masks.  It is gentle enough to use every day or you can switch it up and use it a few times a week.

How it smells

Imagine walking out of Golden Gate Park in San Francisco after a light rain and into a field of lavender.  Something about these two fragrant essential oils mixed with the earthiness of the clay is just so lovely and relaxing.
