How it all started

Okologi Botanik is a Botanically Based Skincare Company based out of Tucson, AZ. We started experimenting with ingredients for a non-toxic deodorant in 2013 after feeling unsatisfied with what was found on the natural market. After months of trial and error with were rewarded with a powerful and safe formula that lasted through an Arizona summer. We were so excited to find a solution and we knew we needed to share it with others. 


We are constantly experimenting and expanding our product assortment. We believe in creating products with safe ingredients. We believe in products that work. Our products will leave you feeling beautiful, fresh and give you a clean conscience knowing that you are doing what is best for your body and contributing to a happy, clean planet.

Chelsea Villela

Raised by wolves in the mountains of Northern California, Chelsea has always had one foot on the ground and her head in the clouds.  She received a BS in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a minor in Bio Chemistry from the University of Arizona. She has experience working on plant genes and cancer diagnostics research. She has been certified as an Organic Skin Care Formulator by Formula Botanica, in the UK. She is always researching new plant based ingredients and loves to create new skin care formulas every chance she gets. She has been a regular guest speaker at McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship at Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona.

Victoria Villela

Desert baby. Lover of pretty things, ice cream and Microsoft Excel. She graduated from the University of Arizona with her B.S. in Retailing and Consumer Sciences. Victoria is Økologi’s marketing and logistic problem solver. Currently she is probably frozen in Anchorage, AK.
